Double Century from Sarfraz: Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2023-2024

In the ongoing i.e., Quaid-e-Azam trophy 2023-2024 tournament Sarfaraz Ahmed scoring a Fantastic 200 on the final day of test match between KARACHI WHITES and LAHORE WHITES at Gaddafi stadium, Lahore
It has been a
run-fest in the Quaid-E-Azam Trophy in the match between Karachi Whites and
Lahore Whites. Sarfaraz has joined the party with his batsmanship. On a
fantastic batting surface, the batters have been scoring runs for fun.
Though it was not easy for bowlers to ball on this difficult pitch of
Gaddafi Stadium but still credit has to be given to batters for maintaining cool
and patience and scoring loads of runs specially to Ali Zaryab and Sarfaraz Ahmed
to score double centuries. It was not only that bowlers did not get any help of
pitch but batters also played deliverers on their merit and didn’t throw the
wicket away.
Records galore in
the match, as Karachi Whites’ batters are scoring tons after the other. One
after the other, all the batters are scoring hundred from Karachi Whites.
Sarfaraz feasted on the good platform set and scored runs for fun. He tormented
the bowlers and got to the milestone of double hundred.
Sarfaraz Ahmed played like a senior pro and played shots all over ground
and didn’t look fumbled even after playing whole day. On the other hand, Rameez
Aziz supported him quite well even though pitch seemed to be very flat but
scoring centuries and even double century is extraordinary.
Not to take away any thing from ballers who continuously tried to break partnership
they also should be appreciated for balling whole days but in over all scenario
this match was pure a run fest and batters show.
Sarfaraz is
continuing to bash the Lahore Whites bowlers. There is no respite whatsoever
for the bowlers on a wicket that has nothing in it for them. Along with
Sarfaraz, four other batters scored a hundred. Khurram Manzoor, Ammad Alam,
Asad Shafiq, and Rameez Aziz also scored a hundred for Karachi Whites
against Lahore Whites.
On the side of Lahore Whites Ali Zaryab also scored 222 which was also a
pearl of innings from Lahore batter and should have given confidence to the
youngster as it is not easy to score a double century on any pitch whether it’s
a balling or a batting pitch in the world
