Sarfaraz vs Rizwan : The Unwanted controversy

 

Before starting to make something out of this controversy let it be very clear to every one that Sarfaraz and Rizwan both are undeniable assets of Pakistan Cricket Team and serving the nation in the best way they can. These are just factual points considering the situations before World Cup 2019. It is very important to mention that there is no fight between Rizwan and Sarfaraz as they have told in press release.

The Reason why Rizwan was not part of World cup 2023

Couple of reasons why Rizwan was not considered as backup wk. in the 15-member squad of WC 2019.

 

1.  There was no option of travelling reserve at that time. So only 15 members were allowed to travel. 
2.  Where you would have adjusted him? At whom place? Like, Haris can not replace any one from the squad right now, there was no one else who could've left out for Rizwan.
3.  Before 2019 world cup Rizwan was tried since 2014 but he could not justify his place in the squad and Sarfaraz cemented his place and became captain of the side who lead Pakistan in Champions Trophy and make Pakistan Champion in 2017.
4.  Yes, we can say that Sarfaraz did not performed well in Asia cup 2018, after Asia cup he made Pakistan number 1 in T20 format.
5. . As Sarfaraz Ahmed was already captaining the side so there is no point of changing the captain of the side just to replace Rizwan, as his performance was still not justified 
6. Apart from two players who made their entrance into the squad at the last time, the squad was already finalized. Amir and Haris Sohail made their way into the World Cup.

              Neither Amir nor Haris Sohail could have             replaced Rizwan.  We could also see that                     Rizwan worked very hard in and shown his                      performance PSL 2020 and he was started given         chances in later part of 2019 after Pakistan lost the       world cup from group stages so we can not say that       Rizwan was deprived of chances.

          Sarfaraz And Rizwan both as a player and a                person are good friends and back each other as they have told in interviews but there is certain fanbase of both sides who keep try to ignite fire between them

To the extent we know that Sarfaraz is always a supportive person and give respect and appreciates performance of not only Rizwan but whole Pakistan Team, so we should create these types of controversies and don’t try cheap tactics to break bond between Pakistan’s team
